SUMMARY:Stations of Lament for Migrant Dignity
DESCRIPTION:When life gets hard\, faith and prayer give us the strength to keep going. \nPrayer can heal hearts broken by violence\, job loss\, lost health insurance\, and the terrible fear of being separated from family or deported. \nOur faith and prayers can move the mountains of indifference\, racism\, xenophobia\, fear\, and anxiety. \nJoin Us on October 17\nCome pray and walk with us in solidarity with our immigrant brothers and sisters. \nMass: Begins at St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church\, celebrated by Bishop Robert Brennan at 9:00AM. \nPrayer Walk: After Mass\, we will walk the Stations of the Cross together through East Flatbush to St. Thérèse of Lisieux R.C. Church and St. Vincent Ferrer R.C. Church. \nWhy You Should Come \nShow support: Let immigrant families know they are loved\, valued\, and not alone. \nPray together: Bring our heavy burdens and bright hopes into our community streets. \nMove mountains: Stand up for kindness\, unity\, and dignity for every person. \nBring your family\, friends\, neighbors\, and comfortable shoes. \nEveryone is welcome! \nVolunteers needed to help carry the cross.
