November is dedicated to Black Catholic History Month.

The Parish Family of St. Therese of Lisieux in East Flatbush will be celebrating the legacy and vibrant faith of the “great cloud of witnesses”—our ancestors whose lives are a testament to God’s enduring love and faithfulness through generations. During our celebration, we will recognize and pray for the causes of the seven African American candidates for sainthood. These holy men and women walked the path of sanctity with heroic virtue, and their stories call us to a deeper faith and a more committed life of service.
