Pilgrimage for the Veneration of the Reliquary of St Therese of Lisieux

National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

400 Michigan Ave NE Washington, DC 20017

The parish family of St. Therese of Lisieux is delighted to announce two significant centennial celebrations in 2025. This past May, we commemorated the 100th anniversary of the canonization of our patroness, St. Therese of Lisieux. On October 1, 2025, we will begin a year-long celebration marking the centennial of the establishment of our beautiful church and parish in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. This Jubilee Year of Hope offers a special opportunity for devotees to venerate St. Therese of Lisieux.

We are incredibly blessed to organize a pilgrimage to Washington D.C. on November 20, 2025, to honor St. Therese and venerate her relics. The National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will host the reliquary containing some of her bones. During veneration, individuals may touch the reliquary or place an object, such as a rosary or prayer card, on it to create a third-class relic.

We warmly invite you to join us on this special pilgrimage. Please refer to the attached flyer for more details. For additional information, please call (718) 451-1500.

Don’t miss this spiritual, heaven-sent blessing as part of her canonization centennial!
