St. Mary’s Drama Guild Presents the Enchanting Musical Comedy: Once Upon a Mattress

St. Mary’s Drama Guild is delighted to announce its upcoming production of the beloved musical comedy, Once Upon a Mattress. Performances will be held on May 10th, 11th, 17th, and 18th, 2025, at St. Mary’s Auditorium.

Once Upon a Mattress offers a whimsical retelling of the classic fairy tale “The Princess and the Pea.” In a medieval kingdom, Queen Aggravain has declared that no one may marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, finds a bride who can pass the Queen’s impossible tests. Princesses from far and wide have tried and failed—until the bold and unconventional Princess Winnifred arrives. With toe-tapping tunes and laugh-out-loud moments, this delightful musical promises a night of laughter, charm, and classic musical theater fun for the whole family.
