Quite fittingly, on the Feast of the Annunciation, the International Gift of Life prayer rally and walk will take place in downtown Manhattan. The just under one-mile walk begins at Foley Square between Federal Plaza and Centre Street in front of the New York County Supreme Court and continues down Broadway past City Hall ending at the “charging bull” statue.

This is a great opportunity for us Catholics to be a public witness to fellow New Yorkers and in fact the whole country. We need to peacefully show them that despite the laws that our governor and legislators have passed that we are a city and state that will pray for and protect the unborn.
