DESCRIPTION:Palliative care experts and religious leaders will gather at Calvary Hospital on April 21 to provide Greater New York faith leaders with essential tools for ministering to communities facing serious illness and loss. \nThe conference\, “Be Not Afraid: Essentials for Interfaith Leaders About Palliative and End of Life Care in Your Community\,” draws on Calvary’s 125-year legacy of pioneering dignified care. The program is designed to foster dialogue between medical experts and spiritual pillars to make end-of-life discussions more compassionate and less intimidating for families. \nThis Conference will provide Greater New York faith leaders with information and tools for ministering to communities facing serious illness and loss.
