DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Haitian Independence Day Mass as we celebrate the 222nd anniversary of Haiti’s freedom—a freedom won through immense sacrifice and resilience. As we face the ongoing challenges of instability in Haiti and the complexities of immigration affecting our community\, we gather not only to remember the past but to pray fervently for the future. \nOur celebrant will be Bishop PIerre Andre Dumas\nBishop of the Diocese of Anse-à-Veau and Miragoâne. \nWe will gather to:\n🙏 Give Thanks for the courage of our ancestors who established the first free Black Republic.\n🕊️ Pray for Peace and Stability in Haiti\, for the safety of those who remain\, and for an end to the current crises.\n🤝 Offer Solidarity and support to all Haitian people navigating displacement and seeking refuge\, both here and abroad.\n✨ Renew Our Hope in a prosperous and peaceful future for our beloved nation. \nCome share our traditional Soup Joumou and lift our collective voices in prayer and celebration. Your presence is a powerful statement of unity and resilience.
