From the Heart Ball is an annual fundraising dinner dance to support Good Counsel Homes, a private organization with a Catholic pro-life mission, in operation for over 38 years, that has aided birth of over 1320 babies. Good Counsel helps any pregnant, homeless mother with a safe and secure learning environment in one of its four homes in Staten Island/Bronx/NJ/Spring Valley, NY. Good Counsel’s 24/7 helpline (1.800.723.8331) received 2,096 calls and 468 online requests for help from pregnant moms and families in 2022 and its Lumina helpline 877.586.4621 offers confidential, non-judgmental counseling to anyone suffering as a result of past abortion.
