The Diocese of Brooklyn Vicariate for Black Catholic Concerns would like to invite all priests, deacons and lay faithful to the annual Diocesan Prayer Service commemorating the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

We will begin with a small breakfast followed by a panel discussion on the issue of racism and keeping the spirit of Dr. King alive in our community and in our Church. Following the panel discussion, we will gather for a prayer service led by Bishop Brennan. The guest homilist will be Father Ajani Gibson, a priest of the Archdiocese of New Orleans who currently serves as Administrator of St. Peter Claver Parish in New Orleans. All staff members and parishioners are welcome to attend what will be a fruitful day of dialogue and prayer.
