DESCRIPTION:In observance of the 25th anniversary of September 11\, Most Holy Trinity–St. Mary in Williamsburg presents Countenance: The 9/11 Missing Posters\, an exhibition of photographs by artist Phil Buehler\, curated by Sarah Celentano and Olena Speranska. Buehler photographed more than 500 of the missing-person posters that covered New York City in the weeks following the attacks; these powerful images are being exhibited publicly for the first time. The installation invites visitors to encounter the faces and individual lives behind the tragedy through remembrance\, reflection\, and prayer. \n“Bringing these faces into this church is more than an art exhibition.
