CÁNTICO: A Franciscan Prayer Circuit for The Year of Saint Francis
In celebration of the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Francis of Assisi, Most Holy Trinity St. Mary Church invites you to experience CÁNTICO, a self-guided Franciscan prayer journey inspired by St. Francis’ Canticle of the Creatures. Move at your own pace through a series of beautifully illustrated panels, accompanied by optional audio reflections by Sister Caryn Crook a Franciscan ecologist. Come and pray with Francis’ vision of God revealed through creation, forgiveness, suffering, and even Sister Death. The experience concludes with an opportunity to leave your personal prayer intentions at the statue of St. Francis.
CÁNTICO is free and open to everyone. It is available when the church is open but not during the celebration of liturgies.
